CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
- As Brand Manager in the Digital Marketing group of Nestlé Purina PetCare, advised brand marketing teams on Internet strategy, and worked with interactive agencies to develop websites and implement integrated digital marketing programs. Helped set and lead digital strategy for Dog Chow, Beneful, Alpo, Mighty Dog, Tidy Cats, and other global brands with combined annual sales of over $2 Billion. Recent programs include the “Beneful WagWorld Dream Dog Park” and “Mighty Dog Nation” campaigns, each featuring public relations, online media, and custom website development.
- Managed multiple interactive agencies and digital service providers. Worked closely with Purina’s 15+ interactive agencies on website launches and updates. Directed relationships with specialized partners for search marketing, web hosting, server security, digital analytics, competitive intelligence, online coupons, and online video. Managed interactive agency selection process for brand teams.
- Identified opportunity and oversaw implementation of organic and paid search marketing programs for all Purina brands. Directed search agency partners and conducted SEO implementations for eight brand websites, resulting in average natural traffic gains of 65%. Oversaw paid search campaigns totaling $2.6 Million.
- Directed Purina web hosting operations for the United States and Canada. Managed the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security compliance of 75+ websites. Managed hosting capacity and planned roadmaps for hosting expansion.
- Managed Purina web metrics using HBX from WebSideStory. Established implementation standards and coordinated with interactive agencies to ensure that metrics were implemented properly across all websites. Identified key performance metrics and used them to optimize marketing spend.
- As Vice President and co-founder of Sports Mogul Inc., designed and executed company marketing and business development strategies. Launched six new products and negotiated 10 key distribution and business partnerships, including the Major League Baseball Players Association, and three software publishing partners.
- As the Manager of Business and Strategy for FamilyEducation.com, coordinated the flagship website of the Family Education Network, with more than 1.5 million users and 6 million monthly page views. Lead the development of 10 new online products. Assessed customer and advertiser interest, and analyzed financial costs and opportunities. Designed content plans, managed implementation, and developed marketing strategies to support product launches.
