CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS

  • As Brand Manager in the Purina Interactive Group of Nestlé Purina PetCare, oversaw implementation of organic search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search engine marketing (SEM) programs for Purina brand websites. Selected search agency and conducted contract negotiations. Lead SEO implementation with search agency, and coordinated SEM campaigns with Google and Yahoo.

  • Managed Purina web metrics using HBX from WebSideStory. Coordinated with six interactive agencies to ensure that metrics were implemented properly across 45 different websites. Established implementation standards and provided support during new site development.

  • As Vice President and co-founder of Sports Mogul Inc., managed marketing department P&L and achieved ROI greater than 650%. Initiated targeted online ad placements and tracked campaign performance. Built a customer list of 34,000 members, and managed online community of game fans and testers.

  • Created Sports Mogul business plan and financial projections, developed investor proposals, and presented to VCs and groups of qualified investors. Successfully raised $225,000 in seed funding and won Semi-Finalist recognition in the 2000 LycosLabs Business Plan Competition.

  • Negotiated 10 key business partnerships for Sports Mogul. Partners included the Major League Baseball Players Association, two software publishing partners, and Amazon.com.

  • Launched six new game products for Sports Mogul, including one online game and five CD-ROM games. Online game was a finalist for a 2001 MIMC Award from the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council. CD-ROM games received numerous industry awards, including the Editor's Choice Award from IGN.com and a nomination for Sports Game of the Year from GameSpot.com.

  • As the Manager of Business and Strategy for FamilyEducation.com, coordinated the flagship website of the Family Education Network, with more than 1.5 million users and 6 million monthly page views.

  • Developed 10 new online products for Family Education Network. Identified revenue opportunities, designed content plans, and established value proposition for visitors and advertisers. Managed implementation of products, and created a methodology for future product development.

  • Negotiated terms for 12 business partnerships for Family Education Network. Evaluated partnership options for strategic fit and revenue potential. Used partnerships to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.

  • As a Consultant for Onsett International, created Information Technology solutions for Fortune 500 clients. Projects included managing a 1,500 seat software upgrade for a major bank, modeling a 16,000 seat Y2K upgrade for a major insurance company, and modeling electronic check payments for a banking consortium.
